Summer Camp 2020 Update

Hello friends of Indian Trails Camp,

We hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. As you know, the mission of Indian Trails Camp (ITC) is to provide a safe, fun and barrier free summer camp experience for our campers. With that being said, the leadership team has been closely monitoring COVID-19 in Michigan and around the country.

Based on guidelines released from the CDC, Michigan’s Chief Medical Executive and national guidelines, we feel that we cannot fulfill our mission and enact the new safety protocols that would be required to have camp, without dramatically changing the experience. Unfortunately, this means we will be canceling our Summer & Day Camp 2020 season.

We understand that this is disappointing news. We know that you rely on our programs for support, growth and opportunities for independence for you or your camper. Please know the decision to cancel this season was not made easily, but we want to protect the health and safety of campers, families and staff. Any payments made toward summer camp sessions will be refunded the way in which they were paid, and will be processed by June 15.

On a bright note, we would like all families to participate in our survey regarding an exciting idea called “Camp in a Box”. The survey will help us determine if we should move forward with various options for this idea. The survey was already sent to campers who were scheduled for summer camp sessions. However, if you did not receive it, please follow the link below. It will only take a moment to complete.

Again, we thank you for your continued support of Indian Trails Camp, and appreciate your understanding as we navigate these uncertain times. We hope to be with you all next summer! If not sooner during our fall respite season!
