What a wild week at Indian Trails Camp! Campers spent the week exploring the wonders of the jungle through exciting activities, hands-on adventures, creative projects, and plenty of opportunities to work together and try new things.
Campers embraced the spirit of adventure through creative crafts, exciting games, new friendships, and unforgettable memories. From jungle-inspired challenges to everyday camp fun, every day was packed with excitement and discovery.

What a busy and fun-filled time it has been for our Group CLS participants! 🎉
From getting creative while dyeing Easter eggs 🐣, to exploring the incredible Comic-Con exhibit at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, our group has been making memories all across West Michigan. We also enjoyed hands-on crafts at camp 🎨 and spent time discovering all that Holland Electric Park has to offer. ⚡🌳
Whether we're creating, exploring, learning, or simply spending time with friends, every adventure is an opportunity to build connections and have fun. We can't wait to see what our next outing brings!

We're excited to share that our splash pad upgrade is officially complete!
Thanks to a very generous donation, campers can now enjoy a brand-new splash pad surface that is cushioned, slip-resistant, and built to last for years of summer fun. The refreshed space not only looks amazing, but also provides an even safer and more comfortable experience for everyone who visits our waterfront area.
We can't wait to see the smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories made on the new splash pad this season!

🌲🎯🧗♀️ Adventure was around every corner for R.E.C. Connect last week!
Our group had an amazing time visiting the open house at the Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park, where participants got to experience a variety of exciting outdoor activities. From testing their skills in archery and conquering the climbing wall to soaring through the trees on the zipline and learning about luge, there was no shortage of opportunities to try something new!
One of the best parts of R.E.C. Connect is encouraging individuals to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and create lasting memories with friends. Watching participants challenge themselves, cheer each other on, and celebrate their accomplishments made this outing one to remember.
A huge thank you to the staff and volunteers who welcomed our group and helped make the experience accessible, fun, and unforgettable for everyone involved. 💙

🎨🌈 Summer Week 2 Wrap-Up: Color Wars! 🌈🎨
What a week! Camp was bursting with color, creativity, teamwork, and nonstop excitement during our Color Wars week! Campers proudly represented their color teams through friendly competitions, cooperative challenges, themed activities, and plenty of camp spirit.
The highlight of the week was our epic Color Wars Battle, where campers dove into an unforgettable experience filled with colorful powders, safe paint, laughter, and memories that will last all summer long. From bright smiles to rainbow-covered campers, the energy was unmatched!
Thank you to all of our campers and staff for bringing such incredible enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and teamwork throughout the week. You proved that you don't need rain to create a rainbow—you just need camp friends, camp spirit, and a little color!

What an incredible start to Summer Camp 2026!
Last week, our campers launched into an unforgettable adventure as we kicked off the summer with our "Blast Off! Out of This World" theme. From galaxy-inspired crafts and cosmic games to space-themed activities and cabin fun, camp was filled with excitement, laughter, and new friendships.
Our campers embraced every opportunity to explore, create, and imagine as they journeyed through a week packed with stellar memories. Whether they were making out-of-this-world creations, participating in themed challenges, or simply enjoying time with friends, the energy was truly astronomical!
A huge shoutout to our amazing staff for making the first week of camp such a success and to our camp families for trusting us with your campers. We are so excited for everything still to come this summer.

⏰🏕️ 2 DAYS UNTIL CAMP! 🏕️⏰
Our team has been hard at work getting ready for camp, and this week we were so thankful to welcome the first-year OT students from the Masters of Occupational Science and Therapy program at Grand Valley State University!
These students helped prepare us for all sorts of activities of daily living, sensory needs, and adaptive techniques for crafts and camp activities to help ensure every camper has the best experience possible. Their knowledge, creativity, and passion for inclusion made such an impact on our team as we continue preparing for an unforgettable summer.
Meanwhile, our staff has also been diving into all things aquatic with our Aquatics Lead, Bryce, getting ready for boating, waterfront fun, and safe adventures on the water this summer! 🌊☀️
From adaptive programming to aquatics training, our crew is putting the finishing touches on camp prep and we cannot wait to welcome everyone back for the best summer yet.
Only 2 more days until campfires, laughter, crafts, zip lining, boating, and memories that will last a lifetime! 🎉🔥🛶
