IKUS Life Enrichment Services / Indian Trails Camp is looking for a compassionate RN, LPN, or EMT to join our team as our Summer Camp Nurse in Grand Rapids, MI! Spend your summer making a real impact while supporting campers of all abilities in a fun, inclusive camp environment.
Position Highlights:
• 10-week summer season (May 31 – Aug 7)
• $1,400–$1,700 per week
• Private on-site cabin + meals included
• Weekends off

As Camp Nurse, you’ll oversee camper and staff health needs, administer medications, maintain medical records, and help create a safe, supportive environment so every camper can enjoy the full camp experience.

🏀 Sibling Camp – March 27–29 (March Madness Weekend)
Campers can bring a sibling, cousin, or family friend to share the camp adventure. With basketball-themed activities, games, and classic camp fun, it’s a great introduction to camp life for everyone.
These weekends are a great “test run” before summer camp season kicks off—giving families a chance to experience the magic of camp in a shorter stay.

Our Creative Arts Respite Weekend was filled with imagination, self-expression, and so much fun! Campers spent the weekend exploring their creativity through art, music, and dancing, making incredible memories and sharing their talents with friends.
The highlight of the weekend? Our Saturday night talent show! 🌟 Each camper had the chance to take the stage and show off their creativity—whether it was singing, dancing, performing, or sharing something uniquely their own. The room was full of cheers, encouragement, and proud moments.
Weekends like this remind us how powerful creativity can be in bringing people together. 💚

At IKUS Life Enrichment Services and Indian Trails Camp (ITC), we believe inclusion is more than a word — it’s a commitment.
Developmental disabilities can include autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other conditions that begin during childhood and continue throughout a person’s lifetime. Individuals with developmental disabilities are leaders, artists, employees, campers, siblings, friends, and so much more.
We are proud to provide adaptive recreation, respite opportunities, and inclusive camp experiences that support children, teens, and adults in building confidence, community, and independence.

This weekend Makayla, Keegan, and BJ fired up the grill and served up our first burgers of 2026! Nothing says camp season is getting closer quite like the smell of burgers on the grill and everyone gathering together to enjoy them.

At IKUS Life Enrichment Services and Indian Trails Camp (ITC), we proudly support children, teens, and adults with cerebral palsy — celebrating the strengths, talents, and resilience they bring to our community every day.
Cerebral palsy is the most common motor disability in childhood, but CP is lifelong. Many adults with cerebral palsy continue to pursue careers, friendships, recreation, and independent living — and deserve inclusive spaces that grow with them.
Through adaptive summer camp, respite weekends, and year-round enrichment programs for youth and adults, we are committed to creating opportunities where individuals of all abilities can connect, build confidence, and thrive at every stage of life.

🍴 Meet Taryn, Our New Camp & Respite Head Chef!
We’re thrilled to welcome Taryn to the IKUS team! Originally from White Lake, MI, Taryn earned her IB diploma before heading to Grand Valley to earn her BSW, all while volunteering at ITC. With over 10 years in the food service industry—including catering, restaurants, hotels, and schools—she brings a wealth of experience and creativity to our kitchen.
Taryn’s culinary specialty is Italian cuisine, but her true passion is introducing others to new flavors and cultural dishes through her food artistry. Outside the kitchen, she helps run her partner’s food truck and take-out restaurant alongside their energetic children, ages 12 and 6-year old twins.
We can’t wait for our campers and guests to experience Taryn’s delicious creations! 🍝✨
