Friendship Fun was in full swing at camp this past weekend! 💕
Our favorite way to celebrate friendship during respite is with creative crafts and big cheesin’ smiles. From hands-on art projects and dancing to lots of laughter, campers spent the weekend making memories and celebrating the joy of being together. 🎨😄

Our annual Snowball Dance at IKUS was one for the books! ❄️💙
This past weekend, camp was filled with laughter, music, and nonstop dancing as we welcomed so many incredible individuals through our doors — from our campers and daily members to several new faces from the community who came out to dance the night away and learn more about everything IKUS has to offer.
From the Chicken Dance to the Cupid Shuffle to Cotton-Eyed Joe, the dance floor stayed packed all night long! 🕺💃 The smiles were endless, the energy was high, and the joy of inclusion could be felt in every corner of camp.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this night so special. We already can’t wait for next year’s Snowball Dance! ✨

🏀 March 27–29: Youth Respite Weekend – March Madness
This sibling-friendly weekend lets campers bring a sibling, cousin, or family friend along! Enjoy basketball games, mascot-making, and plenty of active camp fun while sharing the experience together.
🌍 April 24–26: Family Camp – Cultural Heritage Weekend
Experience camp as a family! Travel the world through food, music, activities, and storytelling while celebrating diverse cultures together. From campfires to crafts, it’s a weekend full of connection, memories, and fun for everyone.
🦸 July 5–10: Week-Long Summer Camp – Superheroes vs. Supervillains
An action-packed week where campers discover their powers, create themed crafts, and work together to save their cabins from camp domination.

🔬 Winter Science Exploratorium Recap
Last weekend, our campers became scientists and athletes during an action-packed respite adventure!
Our Indoor Olympics brought the fun with bowling 🎳, musical cones, a chocolate chip toss, and an exciting kickball tie-breaker. In between the games, campers dove into winter science—competing in Winter Science Jeopardy, creating snowstorms in a jar 🌨️, and making ice cream in a bag using salt and ice 🍦.
Hands-on learning, teamwork, and plenty of smiles made it a weekend to remember. We can’t wait for the next adventure!
