WHAT DOES “IKUS” MEAN?

Campers at Indian Trails look forward to singing our official camp song at the end of each day: “I ike IKUS! Nobody like us! We are the camp of ITC! Always a-winning, always a-grinning, always a-feeling fine!” When we launched the camp’s parent organization, “IKUS” was the perfect word to use as our name. IKUS means greater freedom for our clients, and it means integrated care and fun activities that build meaningful relationships.

Indian Trails Camp

For many, Indian Trails Camp is the highlight of their year, longed for with more anticipation than Christmas or even their own birthdays. That’s because ITC gives campers the ability to choose which activities they want to engage in no matter what their abilities are. It’s also because of our enthusiastic and energetic staff, who support and encourage campers as they challenge themselves.
