Gardening Class for Skill Building
With instruction from food service coordinator, Scott Andrews, our Skill Building program spent time in the garden this week, learning how to sow seeds and care for plants. Not only does the gardening provide benefits such as sensory exploration, reducing stress and giving individuals the ability to make improvements to the environment and the community, the produce and herbs will be utilized to provide a farm to table experience for various programs and services throughout the seasons.
