Great Silent Auction Items Coming to Reds, Whites & Brews

We have great Silent Auction packages lined up for this year’s Reds, Whites & Brews at the Downtown Market on May 19, raising funds for camper scholarships. In addition to several family entertainment packages, we’ll have a Boyne Highlands Resort overnight getaway, Circle Theatre season tickets, golf at Treetops Resort, passes to The Henry Ford and more.

Tickets to the event are $50 and include fine wine & microbrew tasting, hors d’oeuvres, live & silent auctions and live music from Brian Vander Ark. Be sure to join us for an amazing evening!

APRIL 9: Community Craft Show at Indian Trails Camp

Join us on Saturday, April 9 from 10am to noon for our Community Craft Show! We’ll have artists and vendors of all abilities selling handmade and homemade goods including pet toys, home decor, food mix items and more. This event is free, family-friendly and open to anyone in the community!

We have openings in our Summer Camp and year-round services.

Summer Camp: Counselors provide assistance with campers to ensure that their week of camp is the best week of the year!  Counselors help plan, coordinate, participate and engage campers in accessible camp activities including swimming, fishing, high ropes & zip-line, music drama, and sports & recreation and much more!  Our Summer Camp season kicks off from May 31st through August 13th.  If you are ready to serve from your heart and have a Summer of FUN & s’mores – apply today!

Join a team that is all about making a difference, with our hearts. Indian Trails Camp is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing individuals with disabilities an enriched life experience through recreation, advocacy and meaningful relationships.

With a remarkable facility that brings adaptive recreation to the lives of each camper, Indian Trails Camp offers a barrier-free camp setting with state of the art facilities, in which those with disabilities can participate in all manner of activities the outside world is ill-equipped to provide. It is a place filled with fun, recreation, friendship and acceptance. Campers learn perseverance, teamwork and self-reliance. They leave for home loaded with love, respect, and memories.

The Interim Camp Director will provide leadership and management of the 2016 Summer Camp Season. The position will ideally begin on Monday, April 4th and conclude on Saturday, August 20th.  This position lives on site during the summer months and ensures delivery of Indian Trails Camp programming goals in keeping with mission, vision, culture, and strategy. This also includes ensuring that all state of Michigan Licensing regulations and continued success of ACA accreditation process are followed.
