Accessible Art Creation Day with Zot Artz!

19399951_1770198192994553_389986153560265772_nIn partnership with Zot Artz we had an accessible art creation day for campers, partner programs and community participants. Accessible art tools allowed everyone to experience the full creative process in the creation of unique art pieces.

A HUGE thanks to Dwayne Szot, nationally renowned artist, for providing this opportunity to create original works of art that foster social interaction, natural inclusion, and self-esteem, and nurtures the ability for each person to work at their own level of ability. 19399012_1770242356323470_3476228649871368928_n

And a HUGE thanks to our friends from The C2 Group for their dedication in making this event a success! Their time, energy, and, friendship (and popsicles) were greatly appreciated! Give it up for Dwayne & The C2 Group for making every day another best day for those we serve and for our community!

Summer Camp is Here!

IMG_2934Summer Camp is here and we are enjoying every minute! The weather is warm and campers are having a blast! With swimming, paddle boating, visits from the Critter Barn and Arts in Motion Studio, our days are filled with fun activities. We’ve also enjoyed evening events like a concert from Rick Reuther and karaoke. We’re so excited about what’s in store for the rest of the summer!

Camp Chat!

Hello everyone! We’ve had a lot to celebrate at respites these past few weeks!

For St. Patrick’s Day, some of our popular activities included a leprechaun scavenger hunt, mint chocolate chip cookies, and Irish-themed mosaics.

We also had our own March Madness here at camp! We made our own basketball key chains, built mini basketball catapults, and had a March Madness minute-to-win-it tournament!

We’ve also been enjoying our traditional camp activities. Swimming in the pool is a favorite activity for many people at any time of year. Creative arts, cooking, and sports activities are always fun.

We look forward to being able to spend more time outdoors as it gets closer to time for summer camp!

Camp Chat!

Hello everyone!

ITC’s got talent! Talent shows and karaoke nights are some of my favorite programs to have at camp. I love all of the talents that our campers share onstage during these events!

Each performance is different during every event, but some frequent music we hear during these events include Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé.

Performances are often singing and dancing, but also include painting, fashion shows, and sporting events.

Thanks to all of our ITC campers for sharing your talents with us at camp!
